Artist centered in the circle of Tadeusz Kantor. In 1933, she began her studies at the Alfred Terlecki Painting School. Between 1934 and 1939 she continued her artistic studies at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Władysław Jarocki, Stefan Filipkiewicz and Ignacy Pieńkowski. Since 1957, she was a member of the Cracow Group. She exhibited her works at Modern Art Exhibitions in Krakow and Warsaw. In her works, she experimented with the amount of paint applied to the canvas. She made spatial works using fragments of fabric. She made a series of paintings combining oil paint with stearin. In the 1970s, her works became more limited in color and she gave up texture. In the 1990s, her paintings became richer in color. In 1991, her monographic exhibition took place at Krzystofory in Cracow.
