The artist was involved in painting, printmaking, and art conservation. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1963 to 1969. He emphasized purely formal features of the work, such as color, shape and composition. He often used intense, contrasting colors and rhythmization of compositional elements. On his canvases, abstract shapes multiply and interpenetrate each other, giving the impression of fluid movement. The artist has participated in many group and individual exhibitions, primarily in Warsaw, and his works are in private collections in Poland and abroad, including Italy, Canada and England.
