Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (diploma in 2004 in the studio of Prof. J. Nowakowski). He is engaged in easel painting. Lives and works in Skawina near Cracow.
"My paintings are created in silence. I switch off completely and immerse myself in my thoughts. The mind then circles somewhere between reality and memories, between consciousness and subconsciousness. I engage all my imagination, experience and memory to put just a few lines, because sometimes that's all it takes for a project to emerge. If there is a clear, clean and clear concept in my head, I don't need to create detailed sketches. An outline is enough and the rest comes on its own, further already on the canvas. Then the silence ceases to apply. I can listen to music, books or broadcasts. The painting process itself, is almost automatic, a bit like an unconditioned reflex. I don't have to think about what paints I should mix, whether the piece should look this way or that way. If what is just created forms a harmonious whole, the painting actually "paints itself".
