Jacek Staszewski
Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist, professor of fine arts. Studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1987 to 1992. Since 1994, he has been professionally connected with his alma mater's faculty, where he has been running a drawing studio since 2010. In 2012-2016 and 2016-2020, he served as vice dean for student affairs, and from 2020. - dean of the Faculty of Graphic Arts. Since 2007, he has also been a lecturer at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, where he teaches drawing and painting. Author of individual exhibitions and participant in group exhibitions at home and abroad (including at xx1 Gallery in Warsaw, TEST Gallery in Warsaw, Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin, Sächsisches Staatsministerium der Finanzen in Dresden, Museo del Calzado in Alicante, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in Taipei). Winner of prizes and awards (among others: award at the 1st Biennale of "Image" in Lodz, honorable mention at the 12th International Biennale of Drawing and Graphics in Taipei, honorable mention at the 1st International Biennale of "Image" in Lodz, award of the Association for the Promotion of Coastal Artists ERA-ART in the European painting competition "Colors of the Sea" in Gdynia).
