Jacek Palucha (born 1966 in Częstochowa) is a Polish painter, illustrator and musician. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he received his diploma in Prof. Wieslaw Szamborski's studio in 1993. Palucha is known for his figurative painting of anecdotal and grotesque nature, often featuring exaggerated figures in humorous situations. His works are distinguished by intense colors and deformations of form.
In addition to painting, Palucha is also the founder and leader of the popular music group Formacja Nieżywych Schabuff. In addition, he tried his hand as an actor, playing the lead role in the film "Balanga" (1993), directed by Lukasz Wylężałek, for which he won recognition at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
His paintings have been shown in many exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad, with his first solo exhibition in Paris while he was still a student. His work is appreciated for its unique style, which combines satire, expressive colors and comic book inspirations.
