Jacek Niekrasz. Born 24. 03. 1976 in Hajnówka.
He has been engaged in artistic creation for more than a dozen years. He mainly uses dry pastel and mixed technique. He also uses oil pastels, pencil and charcoal.
In his art, he refers to such currents in painting as surrealism, symbolism and magical realism. However, the main and primary source of creative exploration, for him, is imagination and what hides the human subconscious. He is also inspired by literature, poetry and film.
For him, art is a form of spiritual activity and something completely superior. It is a continuous process of discovery, cognition and transformation. It is a sphere of freedom, a search for truth, touching the unknown.
He has participated in more than twenty group exhibitions. He has had five solo exhibitions. Since 2018, he has been showing his works at the Marszand Art Gallery in Bialystok.
