Biography
Doctoral student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Resident of, among others, KulturKontakt program in Vienna (2018), Odkrywka in Opolno Zdroj (2021) and TBCK Forward in Kosice, Slovakia (2021). She has participated in the Biennale Out of Sth review (BWA Wroclaw), the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Dresden and Her Docs Film Festival in Warsaw, among others. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2019) and the President of Wroclaw (2020). Winner of the WARTO award (2021). Iwona Ogrodzka works in painting, video art and photography. Where images fail, she uses words. A very important part of her work is collaboration with other artists and artists. For several years, together with Karolina Balcer, she has been creating the Why Quit project.
