Small Stories is the artist's subjective commentary on the situation in Europe. The war for the existence of Ukraine continues, despite the casualties and destruction, the Ukrainian army and society are resisting Russia. What chances do they have? What will happen next? The artist doesn't answer these questions, because the main character of the paintings is a man who is moving from one reality to another, searching for balance. Sometimes life can be gray and sometimes colorful and fabulous. In the paintings of the series of small stories, the artist wants to breathe a pinch of optimism into all of us, with the hope that our small and big world will become colorful.
Ivayla Zhivkova Roshak
She was born in Sofia, where she received education in artistic textiles and clothing design. She has been living in Lomza since 1996. She paints paintings, creates ceramic sculptures, artistic textiles, unique clothing and decorative objects, and arranges interiors. She is also involved in art education. In her work, she focuses on analyzing the spiritual sphere of human existence. She is the author of more than 30 solo exhibitions, mi.n.: in the Gallery of Contemporary Art of the North Mazovian Museum in Lomza, Serdika Gallery of the Bulgarian Institute of Culture in Warsaw, BWA Gallery "Książ Castle" in Walbrzych, Gallery of the Municipal Cultural Center in Skierniewice, Gallery "Marszand " and Gallery "Stare Bojary" in Bialystok, Gallery "Triada" in Gdansk, Polish Institute in Sofia, Leonardo Gallery in Kazimierz Dolny, "Kler" salons and other galleries. She also organized shows of unique clothes of her own making and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Poland and Bulgaria.
