Itamar Siani - Israeli painter. He was born in 1940 in Sanaa, to a family of Yemeni Jews. In 1949, after the death of his father, he emigrated to Israel with his mother and three brothers. He studied at London University and Goldsmith College of Art in London and with artists such as Marcel Janco, Moshe Mokadi, Zvi Meirovitz, Ja'akow Agam and Josef Schwarzman. A frequently recurring motif in his works is his childhood memories, which are engraved in the artist's memory and are linked to his emigration to Israel. His works have been exhibited in Israel, Great Britain, Spain and also in Poland.
