He was born in 1962 in Konskie. He studied at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and the State School of Fine Arts in Poznań (now the University of Arts).
He earned his diploma in painting in the studio of Prof. Norber Skupniewicz. From 1988 to 1989 he received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art. In addition to painting and drawing, he also does illustration and graphic design.
He lives and works in Poznań.
