Work from the collection of the artist's family. Jan Hrynkowski (1891 - 1971) - painter, graphic artist, stage designer; associated with the Formists, he was a co-founder of the Jednoróg Artists' Guild; initially influenced by expressionism, he painted formist compositions, later developed an individual style under the influence of colorism; in terms of printmaking, he was concerned with lithography, metal techniques, woodcut.
