Ildefons Hou walt [1910 - 1987] - painter. He studied art from 1932 to 1936 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the USB in Vilnius. He studied monumental painting under the direction of Prof. Ludomir Slendzinski. All of the artist's early work was destroyed during the war. From. 1945 in Poznań. Co-founder of the 4F+R group. Considered a leading representative of fantasy painting in Poland. Wife Barbara Szopówna. Daughter Barbara Houwalt-Kostecka.
Aldona Romanowicz, née Nebelska [1909 - 2009] - painter, graphic artist, respected art restorer. She studied art at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the USB in Vilnius, and then at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. She was a student of Bronislaw Jamontt and Jerzy Hoppen. For many years she was head of the Conservation Studio for Medieval Art at the National Museum in Warsaw.
