Henryk Trojan was born in Piotrkow Trybunalski. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, receiving his diploma in 1987. His works are in very many collections at home and abroad. Gothic elongated bodies with small oval heads are characteristic features of the figures in Henryk Trojan's canvases. This melancholy tale of man, his longings and common everyday things, a story as if unsaid, frozen in anticipation, emphasized by muted colors.
