Henryk Musiałowicz (1914-2015) Studied at the State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry in Poznań, choosing to specialize in decorative painting and stained glass. He then went on to study at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he received his diploma in 1948. The artist was recognized at home and abroad. Musiałowicz's solo exhibitions were held at, among others: Museé Rath (Geneva), Galerie Aurora (Geneva), Galerie Lambert (Paris), Zydler Gallery (London), Art Gallery Museum (Niagara Falls), 1112 Gallery the Society for Arts (Chicago), Steps Gallery (New York) in Zachęta or the Warsaw Uprising Museum.
Musialowicz is and always has been an outsider. Therefore, it is impossible to qualify his work to any of the currents or trends in art that have their names. The artist has always been convinced that the purpose of creating art is the message contained in it, that its task is to induce the viewer to contemplate, reflect, ponder - Bożena Kowalska.
