Henryk Musiałowicz's paintings from the "Reminiscences" series, like those from the "Family" and "Epitaph" series, have been created since the 1970s. Unlike the "Animalistic Landscape" or "Birth of the Earth" series, which had continued since the 1950s and referred to the natural world and nature, the "Reminiscences" series refers to the artist's war memories expanded to include his reflections on its desirability in terms of humanism. Musialovich's characteristic form of paintings will accompany him until the end of his creative path. It consists of, among other things, axiality of composition, specific texturality emphasized by black color with a tarry structure, spatiality of works. These features were already formed in the 1950s, when the painter had the opportunity to visit Holland and France.
