Henryk Kozakiewicz graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in 1961 in the studio of Professor K. Tomorowicz. While still a student, he developed his own individual style, consisting of a peculiar reception of surrealism, and was faithful to it throughout his years of creative work. He had several solo exhibitions - the first of which was held at the Debut Salon in 1966, another - in Astrup, Denmark, two years later. At the same time he exhibited in Denmark together with "Group 7"
