Biography
He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He received his diploma in painting and printmaking in 1977 in the studio of Kazimierz Ostrowski. He is a professor at his alma mater. In the early period of his career, he painted paintings of sacred themes. A frequent motif in his works is a deformed human silhouette. The images of people in the artist's paintings often have eyes incorporated into them, cut out from illustrated magazines.
