Unique work by Prof. Henryk Cześnik, title: "Pimpuś ucieł na spacer", dimensions:200x140cm ( unframed), technique: oil on canvas, 2001.It is framed in a modern aluminum frame meant to refer to a hospital bed, and is itself its complement - a sheet, but also a kind of map of reflections and memories.
The dominant motif on it is that of a stroll, a walk, but also of escape, breaking off from the leash, or perhaps "unbuckling from the harness," and perhaps somewhere in the subtext of existential wandering as if taken directly from the "Divine Comedy" (note bebe When painting the picture, the author, like Dante's hero, was also "in mid-life" (taking into account that the average life has lengthened considerably), and having had various experiences, tries to affirm life.
