She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1932, under the direction of Tadeusz Pruszkowski. During the occupation, she belonged to the Union of Armed Struggle (ZWZ) and the Home Army (AK). During the Warsaw Uprising she fought as a liaison officer under the pseudonym Hanna Milska. After the fall of the uprising she was deported to the Ravensbrück camp, later to Hennigsdorf near Oranienburg. After liberation, she returned to Poland. She settled in Gdansk, and later moved permanently to Warsaw. The painter's works have been exhibited many times, both in solo and group exhibitions.
