Grzegorz Wróbel
Born in Warsaw in 1983, educated as an architect. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology in 2009, where he learned the technique and beauty of watercolor. For years he has been associated with the environment of drawing and painting architects from the circle of the Warsaw Faculty of Architecture. For 14 years he has been involved in watercolor painting not only as an artist, but also as a teacher. He has conducted numerous classes and workshops in drawing and watercolor painting. He actively participates in plein-airs in Poland (Lower Silesia, Wroclaw, Torun, Kazimierz Dolny, Kalisz) and abroad (Berlin, Barcelona, Sicily, Paris, Vienna). He paints out of passion for himself, but also does commissioned work. The largest such work was commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2011 to promote the Polish Presidency of the European Union. At the time, a series of 16 watercolors was created and exhibited at the Kamienica Theater in Warsaw. He has had more than a dozen solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Association of Polish Watercolorists.
