Eustachy WASILKOWSKI
1904 Rohatyn - 1977 Poznań
He studied in Vienna and Cracow. From 1936 he went on plein-air painting trips to Krzemieniec, and created in Lviv. He traveled extensively as an artist in Germany, Switzerland, France and Russia, among other countries. He was a member of the Lviv art group "Line". In 1944-1945 he lived in Lancut. He participated in exhibitions of the Rzeszow Association of Polish Artists. In 1948 he became a professor at the School of Fine Arts in Poznań. He painted mainly landscapes, still lifes, flowers and views of small towns. In 1994, an exhibition of his works was organized by the National Museum in Poznan.
