Elizabeth Boukourbane was born in 1958. She is a graduate of the High School of Fine Arts in Yaroslavl. She received her Master of Arts degree from the Institute of Painting Sculpture Graphics and Architecture in St. Petersburg in 1986 at the Department of Sculpture in the studio of Veniamin Borisovich Pinchuk. She is active as an artist in the field of easel and wall painting. The artist is inspired by the human body and soul. Her art delights with richness of color, interesting form, often enriched with oriental elements. She is the author of monuments and commemorative plaques. She has presented her work at many individual and group exhibitions. Her works are in private collections at home and abroad.
