Dwurnik painted cities in his characteristic style, which often combined elements of naive art with abstraction. His works were characterized by bright, intense colors and clear contours. He primarily painted urban landscapes from a bird's-eye view, streets, buildings and people, creating paintings that conveyed the atmosphere and character of various cities while dispensing with realism. Therefore, in Dwurnik's cities, the proportions of streets and buildings are sometimes distorted; fanstatic elements also appear, as well as events that never took place in the cities - such as the flood in Castle Square.
