Her works are distinguished by the workshop of painting and graphic design. The form is often open, understated, abstract. Buczkowska's work is characterized by a specific, authorial handling of the luminosity of the colors used. The artist's solo exhibitions have been presented many times in Warsaw galleries. In addition, her solo exhibition was part of the Liverpool Biennale in 2009. Buczkowska's works have taken part in important group exhibitions: at Warsaw's Zachęta and CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Poznan's Arsenal Gallery, as well as museums and galleries in Tel Aviv, Paris, Vienna and the Biennale of Contemporary Sculpture in Australia.
