Diana Zarow "Selene"
Oil/Canvas 70 x 90 cm framed.
Diana Zarow's work refers to the trend of surrealism and magical realism. She prefers oil painting, but she is no stranger to drawing and watercolor as well. She tries to capture in her paintings something understated, disturbing, something that lurks on the edge of the subconscious. Her works are fleeting moments of the state of the soul captured on canvas. She is inspired by nature, man and the mysteries of the universe. She is instinctively driven to questions about the passing of time, the cycle of decay, the rebirth of nature. Through her works, she would like to affect the subconscious of the viewer, move him or her, cause a moment of reverie, arouse the need for reflection. She currently lives, works and creates in Rzeszow.
