Dawid Figielek (1979) graduated from the National High School of Fine Arts in 1999, receiving a distinction and an excellent grade. He lives and works in Gorzow Wielkopolski, where he graduated. His works, created in the surrealism trend with a metaphysical aura of anxiety, are signed with the pseudonym Timorinelt. The artist has a distinctive, individual style of painting.
Figielek- Timorinelt's works operate with allegory, are ambiguous, show only certain tropes and paths, thus demanding the viewer to establish a kind of game of associations with them. The artist's paintings can be combined into thematic cycles, at the same time, each of them tells a separate story, loosely referring to the main theme. This can be seen in the example of the Don Quixote figure used. As in music, Dawid Figielek builds on the main motif with improvisations and visually explores the theme taken up.
