David PATARAIA

b. 1971, Lanchchuti-Kwemo Chibati

Born in Georgia, however, he has lived in Poland for more than 20 years. Here he created his world, home and family. He has been painting since the age of four - he began his painting studies in Tibilisi, and then moved to Poland where he continued his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poznan and Krakow. He has participated in more than thirty exhibitions, both solo and group.

He is an extraordinary painter with a specific optimistic sensibility. His works evoke smiles, contentment or even happiness on faces.

A characteristic feature of his works is the joy of life that can be seen in every painting. His works are created with a variety of techniques, although the brush is his main tool. David likes to use different materials, complements and formats. He often reaches for metal and plastic, thanks to which the paintings go into the third dimension.
