About the author: Born in 1981 in Hajnówka, Poland. Graduated from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Humanities of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin and the Lublin School of Art and Design, majoring in Painting and Gilding Techniques. He participates in numerous exhibitions and plein-air painting events. He is engaged in creative and pedagogical work . Daniel Gromacki's greatest painting fascination is landscape, especially Podlasie landscape. In his paintings you can feel the breath of the Primeval Forest, experience the space, fields and meadows and delight in the wooden architecture of the Podlasie countryside. The greatest asset of the artist's paintings is his subtle, very sensitive choice of colors that create an astonishing world seen through the eyes of the colorist.
