Biography
Polish photographer, journalist and documentary filmmaker. He has lived in New York since 1979. In 1981 he founded the photo agency Photo Medium Co. He participated with camera in hand in important events: the travels of John Paul II to Poland and the United States, the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in New York, the United Nations General Assembly in New York, presidential campaigns, the visits of Presidents George Bush and Mikhail Gorbachev and Michael Jackson to Poland. Author and co-author of 30 albums and books including: "The Saga of the Styka Family" (1989), "Face to Face" (1991), "Passions of Jerzy Kosinski" (1993), "Careers in America" (1994), "Portraits" (1995), "My Story or How I Photographed the King" (1999), "Creators of the End of the Century" (2000), "Death & Life" (2001), "New York before and after September 11, 2001 (2002), "Doctors in the Fight for Health" (vol. 1/2002, vol.2/2003, vol.3/2004), "The Universe of Rev. Jan Twardowski" (2002), "The Visitation Sisters - Closed Garden" (2003), "Lawyers in the Struggle for Justice" (vol.1/2004), "The Art of Photography - Portrait Photography" (vol.1/2004), "True Photographs, because no longer similar" (2005), "Collections of Polish Art in America" (2005) and "Artists. Portraits of the Last Century" (2007), which were on best-seller lists. During his 30-year career, he has photographed some of the most well-known personalities from the worlds of business, culture, politics and sports.
