BIOGRAM:
Cemra, 1990. a Belarusian artist, from Grodno, Belarus. She lives and works in Warsaw.
Cemra - a Belarusian word meaning darkness. Why Cemra. Through my conceptual art I delve into the dark and painful side of human nature. In my art, I try to address the burning issues of our time and find a vivid and emotional way of expression. My commitment to using my art as a means to address important social and political issues stems from a desire to make a difference. I am driven by the belief that through our creativity and expression we have the power to inspire change and honor the victims of injustice.
