Born July 2, 1969 in Częstochowa, his father was Marian Michalik (also a painter). In 1989 he graduated from the State High School of Visual Arts in Częstochowa. He was associated with the Pławna 9 Art Group, and was initially under the artistic influence of his father. Among other things, he created still lifes and landscapes bordering on surrealism, both in oils and pastels. His works are in private collections at home and abroad. He passed away on December 31, 2018 in Częstochowa.
