Oil, canvas, 100 x 96 cm
Signed on the front, Korczowski's painting is an immersion in the essence of color, "a true chromatic drunkenness," as Parisian art critic Muriel Carbonnet described it. Different colored paints thickly and irregularly cover the canvas, applied by the artist with violent, spontaneous strokes, as if resulting from internal impulses. The artist creates his own world of references, placing exaggerated symbols and ideograms drawn from various cultures and traditions on his canvases.
