Biography
Studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under the guidance of Grzegorz Szymanski and Marek Bednarski. He defended his diploma in 2013. In his work he is inspired by the works of the old masters, mainly Dutch and Italian Renaissance painters. He paints abstract paintings and figurative works with a clear, rhythmic texture that creates a "jittery" effect in the composition. The artist is the recipient of scholarships and awards: Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2016, 2012), Creative Scholarship of the President of the City of Krakow (2015), the main prize in the national painting competition "New Image / New Look", Grazell Scholarship of Anna Maria Siemieńska in the field of painting (2011), Scholarship of Prof. Janina Kraupe-Swiderska in the field of painting (2011) and many others. He has had many solo and group exhibitions in Poland, Spain, Lithuania, France and Germany. In 2017, the artist was ranked 17th in the Compass of Young Art Ranking.
