Barbara Lavender graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, she defended her diploma in the studio of Professor S. Kluska in 1999. She works in painting, printmaking and drawing. Her works have been presented at numerous exhibitions in galleries and art centers in Poland, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Spain, among others. She has also participated in many international plein-air painting workshops.
The artist takes up classic themes in an innovative approach.
