Arkadiusz Tomasz Supryn
(born 1952 in Warsaw)
Painter, stage designer, teacher and lecturer. Graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (studied in the years:1978 - 83 in the studios of Łada Studnicka, Jan Tarasin, Stefan Gierowski, specializing in easel and wall painting and additionally scenography).
From 1983-87 he was a stage designer at the Contemporary Theater in Warsaw. In the following years he worked as a teacher, graphic designer, interior designer, clothing designer and lecturer. He was also an organizer and manager of the gallery chain "Gallery SD".
He won the first prize and honorable mention of the President of Cracow in the international competition "Nature and Art" in 1990. - painting, honorable mention and prize in the Miyauchi Polish-Japanese Foundation competition, Warsaw, a one-year Scholarship from the Art Foundation in Hannover culminating in a 1990-91 painting exhibition in Germany, and a five-year creative scholarship from Abbey House Company.
He has had about 50 group exhibitions and 20 solo exhibitions at home and abroad. His works are in many collections around the world. He currently creates and works in Klodzko and Warsaw.
