Anna WIEJAK-KARPOWICZ

Studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, graduating in 1978 under the direction of Jan Szancenbach. In her painting, she most often takes up the classical theme of the nude in an interior or landscape, resolving it in a manner characteristic of the colorist school of Krakow, from which she originated. She is a painter well known and respected in Cracow, where she mostly exhibits.
