Artist about herself: My name is Anna Van Brussel b. 1979. Szczecin. I live and create partly in Poland in Police and in Greece in Loutraki. Painting has been my passion since childhood, although I always lacked time for it...until now. Getting married, my paths crossed with a family from which came such artists as: Floris Van Acker, Johannes Van Acker, Gust Van Brussel. This motivated me a lot for creative activity. I paint mainly with acrylic on canvas. The subject of my works is mainly Greece. This beautiful country still undiscovered by me, still fascinates me with its natural beauty, climate and history. By creating I want to share what I admire about this country. I also do not despise abstractions. A big influence on my creative development is the training of drawing and painting in workshops conducted by Epsilon Art Gallery in Loutraki, Lab2Art in Loutraki and the Municipal Cultural Center in Police. I regularly participate in investment art auctions organized through various galleries and charity auctions. In 2020 My works were exhibited at Theonogos Photography and Painting Studio in Loutraki. In 2021, my works were exhibited at the Loutraki Municipal Library and the Literary Gallery at the Police Municipal Library, as well as in the group competition exhibition "ATA 2021" organized by the Namysłow Cultural Center. My paintings were also presented in the Angora Gallery series of the weekly "Angora" , and in many online galleries. In 2022, my paintings took part in a group exhibition in the building of the Corinth Chamber organized by the Speech and Art Society "Alkuonides" in Corinth, as well as in the Alexandria Convention Center in Loutraki and in a group exhibition in the building of the Loutraki City Hall organized by FestivArt Diversity in Loutraki. In Poland, on the other hand, my paintings were exhibited at an individual exhibition at the Old Town Gallery in Szczecin and at two group exhibitions such as the Festival of Art and Artistic Objects through the Kwadrat Art Gallery in Poznan and at the "August Salon" organized by Galerie Dial in Warsaw. My paintings also took part in a group exhibition in Monaco organized by Galerie Goypa { Gallery of Young Polish Art} and M&A Marcon & Associes Business and Financial Law at Riviera Palace { Winter Garden}. Above that, I am a supporter of the Silesia Tak Art Association, where I participate in joint painting projects and group exhibitions. My paintings are in both Polish and foreign collections. By profession I am an accountant by education.
