Anna Sliwinska Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Diploma in 1994 at the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Prof. Jerzy Nowosielski and in the Studio of Artistic Tapestry under Prof. Ryszard Kwiecień and Prof. Lilla Kulka. Annex in the Studio of Book Design and Typography with Prof. Roman Banaszewski.In 2012, PhD in the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Academic lecturer (from 2016 - 2020 Tarnów Academy - Faculty of Art, Graphics; from 2020 Silesian Academy in Katowice - Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Applied Arts, Design). Since 1994, a teacher at the High School of Fine Arts in Tarnów. Since 1997, activity in the project of the International Festival "Art of the Book". Participation in about 100 exhibitions at home and abroad. Implementation of more than 40 individual exhibitions. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for 2000, 2003. Scholarship of the City of Tarnów for 2015 and 2018. In 2020, the Award of the City of Tarnów for achievements in the field of artistic creativity. Winner of awards and prizes. Since 2016 she has been running the author's Open Studio of Visual Arts at the Tarnów Cultural Center.
Areas of activity: painting, drawing, object art and unique fabric, book art (art book, illustration).
