Biography
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, receiving her diploma in 1955. From the beginning of her artistic activity she was associated with the avant-garde of painting, dealing primarily with abstraction. Starting from informel, she consistently strived to create her own concept of painting. In the 1960s she revolved around geometric abstraction, then moving closer to op-art, before moving on to free-form constructions in the 1970s, which acquired a lyrical form in the 1980s. By 1992, she had completed nine solo exhibitions and participated in important exhibitions of Polish art, including the March Salons in Zakopane, the Golden Grapes in Zielona Gora, and the Festivals of Contemporary Painting in Szczecin.
