Anna Alicja Trochim - Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma with honors in the Painting Studio of Prof. Stefan Gierowski, an appendix in mural painting from Prof. Ryszard Wojciechowski, an appendix in visual structures from Prof. Roman Owidzki. She is the recipient of many awards, including the Talens Company Award and Second Prize at the Festival of Young Art of the Warsaw Environment in 1979. She was co-organizer of many charity events, including an auction for the benefit of the Oncology Hospice in Warsaw and the nationwide "Element" auction at the National Museum in Warsaw. She is co-founder of the Delfiny Gallery in Warsaw and co-founder of the Warsaw group "Via Varsovia". She has presented her works at more than 40 solo exhibitions in Warsaw, Stockholm, Vilnius, Paris, Budapest, Moscow and Berlin, among others, and they also have a permanent place in museum and private collections at home and abroad, including the collection of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
