Aniela WESOŁY (b. 1985), Animalium, 2020

Born in 1985 in Szczecin, Poland. Visual artist. Media in which she works are painting, photography, and installations. In her works she addresses the issue of extreme human actions and their construction. She looks for compromises in the actions of man facing a space filled with culture and beliefs. She works at the intersection of science and art. In 2018, she defended her undergraduate degree titled. "Uncanny Valley" from Painting in the studio of Hanna Nowicka-Grochal at the Faculty of Painting and New Media, Academy of Art Szczecin. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, majoring in Painting, in the studio of Dr. Bartłomiej Otocki. Twice a scholarship holder of the Rector of the Academy of Art in Szczecin. She lives and works in Cracow on a daily basis.
