Painter associated with the Poznan art community, participant in the Greater Poland Uprising. He was a member of the Association of Artists in Poznan, as well as the host of the showroom at 14 a Wolności Square, and took part in the Association's exhibitions. He painted small-scale atmospheric landscapes of the Greater Poland region, sea views, still lifes and flowers.
