Andrzej Domzalski (b. 1945) in 1971 graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts (since 1996 Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdansk, receiving a diploma from the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Prof. Jacek Zulawski. From 1975 to 1985, he worked with Polish Television as a graphic artist and stage designer. In 1985-1996 he lived and worked in New York, among other things, he participated in the creation of the first Polish television program in New York called Polish Television Network. He also worked as a graphic designer with New York publishing houses, as well as Ehrenrantz and Eckstut Architect Company (1987-1996), among others. From 1996-2004, he worked in Warsaw on architectural projects and developments. In 2004-2008 again in the United States, he lived in Hollywood (Los Angeles), where he affiliated with the Venice Beach group of American artists. He arranged a permanent exhibition of his paintings at Venice Beach, and collaborated with galleries and publications in Los Angeles. Since his debut in 1971 in Gdansk, he has had numerous solo exhibitions around the world, and has continuously collaborated with the New York galleries of Andrew Kolb and Michael Kazan, among others. His painting and graphic works are represented in the collections of many countries around the world.
