He studied painting with Jozef Mehoffer. He exhibited his works at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Lviv in 1909, 1924, in Ternopil in 1912 and at the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw in 1937. In the interwar years he lived in Katowice. He mostly painted works in oil technique. He was interested in themes of portraiture, still life, marine landscapes, as well as exotic Moroccan scenes and historical compositions.
