Graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev. He is a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. His works have been presented at many exhibitions in Ukraine and around the world including the USA, Switzerland, Turkey, Kuwait, Poland, Germany and many others. The artist's works have also been featured in auction houses such as Christie's and Mctears.
Alexander Dobrodiy developed his own painterly style back in the 1990s without succumbing to the trends of modern Ukrainian painting. His works feature architectural motifs, which he combines with the mood of a fairy-tale or dreamlike spectacle.
