Aleksandra Poplawska was born on November 21, 1988 in Czestochowa. Graduate of the W. S. Reymont Clothing Technical School in Częstochowa. In addition to working in the fashion industry as a clothing designer, she is engaged in creative work. Her main field is drawing and illustration. In his works he uses various techniques such as pencil, crayons and ink. The subject of the works is often realistically captured fragments of nature, which, when put together in unconventional compositions, exude a fairy-tale and magical mood. He has been creating regularly since 2017. The source of the creation of the work is a keen observation of the world and detailed photographic documentation.
In the modern ease of photographing places and ephemeral situations of the surrounding world, Aleksandra Poplawska finds an opportunity to build the foundation of her work - a starting base for further processing and composition. Illustrative colors, as a treatment of unrealism, make the visual content more attractive. A frequently used motif is the face she processes through a detailed drawing, which will be further arranged into a painting or illustration. He also fulfills his broad interests in building form in sculptural works, which are, in a sense, a sequel and a new universe of illustrative reality.
He publishes his works in thematic community groups. He uses the Internet medium not only as a tool for self-promotion but also as a source of expanded self-creation. He draws his workshop inspirations from the achievements of artists such as J. Chelmonski, S. Wyspianski, J. Malczewski, J. M. Szancer, T. Jansson, T. Wolf, M.C. Escher
