Biography
Graduate of art history at the University of Warsaw (2016-2021). In 2023, she defended her diploma at the Faculty of Painting of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Prof. Antoni Starowieyski. Aleksandra Nowicka is a finalist of the 12th edition of the NEW IMAGE/NEW LOOK 2023 competition awarded with a special prize by Contemporary Lynx magazine. She has participated in many group as well as individual exhibitions throughout Poland, including the National 47th Painting Biennale "Winter Salon" (2023), Group Exhibition of finalists of the National Leon Wyczółkowski Painting Contest, BWA (2022), Group Exhibition Goose Skin, Promotional Gallery (2022), Individual Exhibition "Between the Wall and the Wainscot," ArxGallery (2023), Individual Exhibition Nowicka Aleksandra. Painting, Autonomy Gallery (2021). The artist's works are in many private collections.
