Aldona Szot - was born on June 4, 1977. She is a mother of two children. She lives in Brzesko. She has been drawing and painting since she was very young. At the age of 20 she decided to focus mainly on easel painting. She paints with oils and acrylics using mostly brushes and spatulas. Her inspiration comes from emotions, her own experiences, those of her loved ones, and man as the greatest mystery of this world.

In 2022/2023 she created a series of works entitled. "Empirie" which were the result of just personal experiences. Thus, the leitmotif in recent years becomes a woman with symbols having their place in the painting. Over the years, she has undertaken painting works of various themes from abstraction, landscapes to portraits. When creating, she wants to remain true to honesty, conscientiousness combined with humility and courage. Hard work and honesty are the things that determine her creative process. The artist's painting oeuvre consists of about 3,000 works that have found a home with individual buyers, also find their place in various public institutions, as well as sacred objects: basilicas and churches in Poland and abroad. She is self-taught, and acquires her knowledge from all possible sources. So far, her paintings have not been presented in exhibitions, as they were too quickly in the possession of the public. In the past year, however, she decided to leave her works from the "Empirie" series for the so-called "waiting period.

She is an educator and therapist by training, hence a particularly keen observation of the other person and everything that makes up his personality - a strong contribution to self-development. In each signature, the sign of the cross appears at the end as gratitude for the gift of creation. For her, the canvas is her greatest friend, to whom she can confide everything, it is a kind of diary onto which she pours everything she feels, all those emotions.
