Biography
In 1980 she graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of J. Tarasin. During martial law she boycotted official cultural life and took part in church exhibitions. Her painting of the 1980s is categorized as part of the so-called "new expression" trend. Favorite mountain motifs, A. Niziurska combined with depictions of fire and lava : "Luke's Story" (1986), "Paul's Story" (1987). Since 1995, the artist uses earth mixed with a binder instead of paint.
