Biography
Agata Przyżycka studied in the atelier of Professor Maciej Swieszewski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk until 2016, then received her PhD at her alma mater. She currently works as an assistant at the Faculty of Painting. She has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions including Kravitz Contemporary in London, Wozownia Art Gallery in Toruń, State Art Gallery in Sopot and City Gallery in Wroclaw. Her paintings are in the collection of the National Museum in Gdansk, among others. She is a finalist in, among others: National Painting Competition AleSztuka2! (Krakow, 2015 / Gdansk, 2016), the 6th Young Art Review "Fresh Blood" (Wroclaw, 2016), the 2nd Leon Wyczółkowski National Competition (Bydgoszcz, 2016) and the Wojciech Fangor National Painting Competition (Gdansk, 2015).
